I made a trip out to the Island of Maui for a business meeting. Labeled QBR (Quarterly Business Review). Its was mostly spending time with our business partner for relationship building. Basically good friends, awesome golf, and good food and drinks. This time was at the Kapalua resport in Maui, and we stayed at the Ritz Carlton Kapalua. We accomplished quite a bit during this meeting and should hopefully lead to a good 2007. Hopefully the next QBR will be in another great location, Kauai?

ハワイのマウイ島に出張してきました。今回は３ヶ月に一回おこなうビジネスミーティングでマウイのカパルアに行ってきました。マウイのリッツ・カールトンカパルアに泊まってきました。ミーティングって言っても、皆でゴルフ、美味しい飯と酒で仲良く人間関係を高めるって言う目的なんで、それほど仕事って事は無いんだけど。毎回ゴルフでクタクタになるんだけど。着いて１ラウンド、次の日２ラウンド、また２ラウンド、で帰るって３日間で５ラウンド？！今度は何処だろう、カウアイ？

Fugu ふぐ

I went to a restaurant in Nishi-Azabu called Toku Yama for Fugu today. This winter has been pretty warm (global warming…) so I haven’t had too many excuses to go. So I decided to head there to have their Fugu and the best Shirako I’ve ever had. Yumm…

西麻布のとく山にふぐを食べに行ってきました。今年の冬は比較的暖かいのであんまりふぐを食べに行く機会が無かったのでふぐと最高の白子を食べに行ってきやした。旨い！

Azveil Atami アズベィル熱海

I went to an Onsen in Atami to treat myself to some relaxation. Nice hotel that I stayed at, didn’t feel like a traditional onsen ryokan, but the place was really nice.

熱海に行ってきました。温泉っていいよね。今回は和風の旅館じゃなくって、おしゃれな温泉ホテルにしました。Azveilおすすめ！

Ichiryu 一隆

I went to a restaurant called “Ichiryu” in Sangenchaya. This place is unbelievable. Specializing in sea food comprised of the freshest fish and other delicacies of the sea. The volume is amazing. We ordered 1 order of uni, and a whole box?! came out! The crab what a whole crab, and we ordered 3 orders of sashimi, and it must’ve been enough for 6 or 7 people that came out. If you get a chance check this place out. The price is very reasonable, and the volume is plenty to feed all. I recommend you go there with at least 4 people so you can order a variety of items.

三軒茶屋の一隆に行ってきました。信じられないよここは。新鮮な魚介がほうふで。なにせボリュームがすごい。うにとか頼んだら1人前がなんといつもすし屋のネタケースに入ってる箱？！どーんっと出てきた。行くなら4人ぐらいで行かないと食べ切れません。

NEC Super Tower

Had a meeting at NEC so I went to the NEC Super Tower in Mita. Story has it that they built it taller than their rival Toshiba Corporations HQ Building. On top of that prior to the NEC Building going up you could see Mt. Fuji from Toshiba’s HQ Building. So they are saying that NEC built it that way to block Toshiba’s view of Mt. Fuji. Rivalry is scary.

NECで打ち合わせが入ってたので、NEC本社ビルに行ってきました。話しによるとライバルの東芝ビルより高く立てたって言う事で、それも東芝からのの富士山の眺めをブロックするのに三田って言う場所を選んで立てたそうです。ライバルって怖いよね。
